Our journey to Kentucky started one day while sipping coffee on our quiet deck in the Green Mountain State. Vermont is where we grew up, where we raised our children and still the home to many of our friends and family.  After seeing our children finish college and begin to venture out to start their own lives, the timing was right for us to embark on our new adventure and chase our dreams.  We have always found great joy in hosting gatherings and parties at our home. Our goal was to always entertain our guests with delicious home cooked meals, conversation, games and laughter.  We decided that our passion was in hosting.    After decades of fast paced careers in corporate retail and state law enforcement,  we found ourselves quickly in love with Kentucky’s gorgeous landscape and the warm hospitality. Serendipity lead us right to Lucas, Kentucky, our home at Barren Breeze B&B.
