There are places you visit, and then there are places that seem to exhale the moment you arrive. Barren Breeze Bed & Breakfast was created to be the latter.

Tucked into the rolling countryside of southern Kentucky,our home began with a simple dream: to create a space where people could slow down, breathe deeply, and feel genuinely care

d for. What started as a love for hospitality grew into a place where weekends stretch a little longer and conversations linger a little deeper.

At Barren Breeze, mornings begin with the record player gently spinning, scent of fresh ground coffee and a gourmet breakfast made to be savored.  Our goal is to take southern traditional breakfasts and put a fun and unique twist that has guests asking for our recipes.  Many of our guests have places to explore like Mammoth Cave National Park or the National Corvette Museum during the day and we want to make sure they are well fed.  We often pack lunches for guests to keep their travel plans easy and fun.  It reminds me of when the kids were little!

Our love language is food, which is why you will always find a sweet treat waiting when you return.  

Early evenings are often spent on the porch, watching the sun dip below the horizon in a wash of gold and quiet. Guests are always in awe of how quickly their stresses wash away, how well they sleep and their longing to stay longer.  

Each guest room is thoughtfully designed to offer comfort, privacy, and a sense of calm that invites rest.  Each room offers robes, shower steamers, refrigerators and decor to represent all the beauty of Kentucky.
